Attorney Barbara L. Franklin

I have been practicing bankruptcy law for more than 20 years. I have served as a bankruptcy expert witness in criminal trials and authored information on bankruptcy law and spoken at numerous seminars on the subject of bankruptcy. The majority of my legal background has been devoted to helping people with bankruptcy issues. Before starting my own practice, I was the Assistant United States Trustee for the District of Alaska. I received my Juris Doctrine from Seattle University, formally known as the University of Puget Sound and am licensed to practice in both Alaska and Hawai'i.

I offer my clients a high-level of personal service and communication. I am a solo practitioner which means you will deal directly with me. I work closely with my clients to assess their situation and develop a cost-effective and efficient manner in which to handle their case. As a result of my extensive experience, I am able to offer my clients several options and provide advice on which alternative will offer the best outcome for their situation.

We are a debt relief agency. We help people file for bankruptcy relief under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, including federally supervised repayment plans under Chapter 13.
